Our Partners: Steve Ford

Steve is founder of WealthCare™ Partners Ltd.

As President, Steve directs the operations of Wealthcare Partners as well as continues to consult with clients regarding financial planning, investment allocations, strategic money management, tax reduction, estate planning and business profitability strategies.

Steve was born in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1956 to John and Marge Ford. He spent his early childhood here and in Minnesota. His family returned to Indianapolis during his high school years. He has called Indianapolis home ever since. He began his career out of college with Ernst & Young, a national CPA firm. In 1979, Steve joined Ray Cadick and Joe Williams in what is now CWMcF CPAs.

He became licensed to sell investments in 1990. Steve holds FINRA series 6, 7, 24 and 63 licenses in addition to his certified public accountant (CPA) license and life and health licenses. He earned his bachelors degree in accounting from Anderson University and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Steve understands the importance of financial security where a family is involved. He has two children. His son, Eric, graduated from Taylor University Magna Cum Laude and is currently working with Steve at WealthCare Partners. His daughter, Kari, was an Indiana University graduate in 2010 and is an elementary teacher in Wayne Township. Steve has worked hard to arrive at a balance in his life combining a solid work ethic with quality family time. He is equally driven both in his office and in the outdoors. He enjoys golf, basketball, tennis, baseball, attending family activities, adventure trips and traveling to warm sunny destinations.

Steve has been actively involved in Westlake Community Church of God for over 35 years. He participates in the church softball league and has been instrumental in youth activities as well as serving on the church board. Steve is active in his government and supportive of his community, a well-rounded person who understands the importance of taking control of your future.
